So, where do these people find the test tubes?
I think I may have to take a trip over to a craft store and stock up!
How cute are these?

Gross Halloween Goodies

(don't say you haven't been warned!)
While searching on pinterest tonight, I came across a ton of spooky goodies for Halloween! Why is it that Halloween has to have a "gross side" to it. Can't it all be about pumpkins and candy corn? Nope! So, if you have a weak stomach, this post may not be for you. :)

Ghost Poop Soup!

Made By Me Monday
(one of my favorites!)
Supplies needed:
cups/mugs
vinyl dots
ribbon
hot chocolate
marshmallows
tag
I found these adorable black cups at the thrift store this week. They were .69 cents each! I love the detail on the top! So, I bought up 6 of them!
My brain started working and thinking what I could do with them. And then, the thought came to me...  neighbor gift! So, I cut out some vinyl dots on my vinyl machine. I wanted to do colors other than orange. So, I've discovered that colors that are "okay" for Halloween are these...
We polka dotted the cups with our vinyl dots and added some cute matching ribbon to the handles.
You can find cute Halloween ribbon anywhere! :)
Add some hot chocolate mix.
add in some GHOST POOP marshmallows of course!
And that's what we call
Ghost Poop Soup!
I made 6 of these in less that 10 minutes!
EASY peasy!! You can find black mugs at any thrift store and cute Halloween ribbon at any craft store. This whole project was under $1.00 each.
Happy Monday!

2x4 candy corn

Made By Me Monday!
_______________________
These are SOOO fun and super easy to make! This is a perfect craft to let you kids help you with. Throughout this tutorial, you will be seeing pictures of MY candy corn and my the one my 5 year old painted. Let's see if you can tell the difference! :)
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
2x4's
paint
stain
sandpaper
5 year old helper
cut your 2x4's into triangles, AKA candy corn shapes!
By the way... next time I do this project, I will cut my candy corn a little skinnier at the top.
sand them down
paint your first layer white
paint the second layer orange
final color, yellow
he's so proud!
let dry and then distress it a bit
add some stain to make it look better aged
or if you don't want to add stain, you can draw on a Sharpie face!
... and always, always, always add bling!
add some ribbon if you'd like
can you guess which one is done by the 5 year old?
This was such a fun project to do! I am thinking of making a bunch of them and wrap them in clear bags for Halloween gifts for teachers and visiting teachers. Perfect!!
TOTAL TIME SPENT: 30 minutes
