For the last few days, there has been an AW! FUL! smell coming from my kitchen. I cleaned, bleached, scrubbed, washed, and bleached again -everything! I sanitized my dishwasher, garbage disposal, and trash cans. I couldn't find out where the darn smell was coming from. Until yesterday. I opened the bread box and...
an experiment.
A real live experiment was taking place, right there in my kitchen. My 10 year old was curious to see what would happen if he took a potato (aka "experiment c"), a tomato (aka "experiment a"), and an apple (aka "experiment b"), place them in individual Ziploc bags and add a little water. What would they do if they sat in water for a few days? Welp, I'll tell ya! They STINK up your house!
but more importantly, I learned a couple of things:
-boys are gross
-when in doubt, check the breadbox
-when in doubt, check the breadbox

Only a boy :-) I'm hanging onto these days when my 10-month old boy can't pull stunts like this yet!

Oh my gosh, Marni, that is hilarious and genious at the same time!!
I actually laughed out loud when I saw what he had done! Boys are pretty...interesting :) Although Saige came home from school one day with water bugs in her pocket. My excuse for her is that she has 3 older disgusting brothers. LOL I am so glad you took the time to take pictures.
I am soooo happy you took pictures! A picture is worth a thousand words, except when it is of something you can blackmail your child with at his wedding and then it is priceless!!!!
Marni, I've been looking for the perfect bread box. I never thought to make one. What did you use?
I actually found it at the DI a couple of years ago. I just spray painted it black and added vinyl lettering! :)
HYSTERICAL!!!
So true honey, so true. My boy's are disgusting and as they get older it gets even worse. lol!
