Made by ME Monday!

An Old Pharmacy Box

I found these great metal boxes at the thrift store the other day.
I paid $1 for each of them!



I worried for a minute that they might be antiques... probably not.
(Well, if they were...they're not anymore!)



I scrubbed the labels off...


spray painted them... I LOVE Krylon!



While they dried, I gathered my supplies...



stained them a little to look distressed and sanded the edges a bit...

mod podge on some cute paper to the center. Sand the edges of the paper.


add some super cute ribbon...

and VIOLA!

I am not sure what I'm going to use them for yet, but I think they turned out pretty darn cute! Happy Monday!

    You could always use them to hold flowers, or decorate for a party.... or use as a gift box when birthdays roll around...kind of like gift baskets. Ok, I am all ideas so I will stop now. Super cute and fantastic job. :)

    Those are so cute! I bet my pharmacist hubby would have loved them just as is from the thrift store. He collects antique pharmacy stuff. :)

    I think those boxes would make really great keepsake or shadow boxes! You could always put a sheet of hard clear plastic in front of whatever you put inside, that way your shadow box can have a nice pop open cover to open before you can actually see whats for display inside.
