I just purchased the material for my back door drapes. YUM-MMMMY!!! It's a burlap underneath a brown velvet raised damask overlay. I am so excited to get them sewn and put up, but for now, they just are just thrown up there to look at!  :)
What do you think?

I found the fabric at a store here in Mesa called Home Fabrics. I am like a kid in a candy store in there! :)

I didn't know you could sew drapes!!! I mean, we took that sewing class together in college, but I still can't sew a straight line some days. I remember that I got a B+ in that class... shameful that I can't even sew a straight line. BUT LOOK AT YOU!!! SEWING DRAPES! Jen (Inman) Carlson can attest to the fact that I have been talking to her for a few years now about doing something with the drapes in my living room... but I've never been brave enough to do it. I'm just so in awe of you sewing drapes! Can't believe it!!! We'll have to hit that fabric store sometime so we can find material for you to make new drapes for me too!!! :D
