Chalk Talk

In keeping with the
BACK TO SCHOOL theme,
I've decided to make a post dedicated to chalk! :)
(although, I don't think that most school even use chalkboards these day. I think they are all dry erase? OH well!)

It all starts with a little can of chalkboard paint

that you can pick up at Home Depot

ORCraft At Home gives us the recipe to make our own chalkboard paint!

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

3 tsp. acrylic paint
1 1/2 tsp. medium water based glaze
1/2 tsp. powder tile grout
The possibilities are endless! Here are some of my faves:

Thanks for lovin' my blog!! I have visited you before but not sure why I had not added your button or followed you?!?!

I am easy sidetracked and scatterbrained. I must get so excited about all the crafts that I forget to grab you!! I'm fixing that right now=)

I love all the chalkboard projects. I've been meaning to make a menu for my kitchen. I'm thinking a cheap tray of some kind from the thrift store!!
